However many people drink the wrong way which instead of getting the maximum benefit from this super food they face digestion issues, skin allergies, bloating, weight gain, kidney disorder and other stomach related issues. Milk is naturally sweet in nature. It contains lactose which is type of sugar. The table sugar that we are use in our home is prepared after lot of chemical processing. Adding this chemically refined sugar in milk hinders with the absorption of all the nutrients in the milk. It also makes the milk indigestible. On top of it adding sugar in milk makes it higher in calories leads to weight gain. However you want to sweeten the milk you can add honey, mishri or jaggery powder.
5. Combining milk with fruits.
Yes it is shocking but milk is incompatible with fruits. Especially with fruits which are sour in nature like oranges, lemons, apple. Milk should be strictly avoided with these fruits. Only sour food which can be combined with milk is Indian Gooseberry or Amla. Dates,b ananas and mangoes if they are purely sweet and riped may be combined with milk. But this combination is quiet heavy on the system. So it is best to see how you feel after drinking milk with banana and you should act accordingly.

How to drink milk?
Milk should be consumed warm. It should be always consumed slowly drinking Sip by Sip in sitting position. However if you are constipated, you can drink milk in standing position, Only in that case you allowed to gulp the milk in standing position.

This is because the enzymes required to digest the milk properly are produced by a body at that time. Because 80% of milk protein is casein which is ideally digested at night. Cow milk or buffalo milk? This is an interesting question. If you are skiny and want to gain weight or bulk up your body only in that case buffalo milk is recommended. For everyone else cow milk which is considered best for brain, skin, hair and other body functions is recommended and if you can arrange desi cow milk which is commonly known as A2 milk nothing like it. While buying packet milk always go for toned milk.

According to Ayurveda humans are capable of digesting milk. The very first thing we intake as food is milk. There could be many reasons why sometimes body stops accepting milk. The degrading quality of milk, wrong usage or complete boycott are some of them.
Well here is what you can do, take a cow milk and put it over a flame. Add a pinch of dry ginger and bring it to boil. Once the milk gets boiled put the gas in low and let it heat further for five minutes. Now puts the gas off, make it cool a bit. Start drinking 1/8th cup of this milk. Then gradually starts increasing amount of milk in cup. In 10 to 15 days depending upon how your body responds. This is tried and tested method to get your body make use to drink milk again.
So it is best milk is best when enjoyed alone, however it can be combined with rice, oats and almonds etc. loaded with nutrients like protein, vitaminA, B1 , B2, B12, potassium and magnesium. Milk is said to be most nutritious beverages one can have. All we need to do is drink it the right way.
